I’m Cheri LaMay and I started Earthworks Garden Design in 2003 to offer client focussed garden design throughout Yorkshire. I am a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers, and with an Honours Degree in Landscape Architecture I have designed over seventy gardens. I trained as a gardener at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate. Years later I returned as a professional designer and I regularly lecture on garden design courses at the RHS gardens.

Working with Cheri to design our new garden has been a wonderful experience. She not only is very knowledgable in her subject but she has a knack of understanding exactly what we wanted too
My garden has been transformed by Cheri’s design – it was just predominantly grassy slopes and a few random bushes, now it has a series of clearly defined spaces, each with it’s own function and character. It is now a lovely garden full of colour and life.
 She helped with some great creative solutions for our garden design and advised on placement and plant species. She took our needs and the garden setting into consideration and we are now embarking on using her design to slowly create our garden. We would highly recommend Cheri!
