I set up new forest pet care in 2015 to fulfil my long term dream of working with animals and now I have the opportunity to help busy pet owners in leeds care for their special friends. Barbara is amazing with our two dogs, a big and always-on-lead Golden Retriever, and an energentic always-off-lead cocker spaniel. She manages them both well, is always accommodating to our needs and the dogs genuinely love seeing her. She takes them into her home and sends lovely pictures of them lounging around her house, on walks with other dogs and so on. Barbara provides an excellent service and I heartily recommend her
Barbara is fantastic and would definitely recommend. She is very accommodating, (even with my over protectiveness) when I was boarding my two fur babies. They felt very relaxed and she fidnt want to chsnge their routine whilst with her. An absolute animal lover and treat them like her own. Couldn’t have asked for more!
I use New Forest Pet care to look after my 2 dogs. I honestly can’t recommend them enough to anyone. Barbara really does love them and look after them like her own both on walks and for boarding. After putting them in kennels once, I’d never do this again as at New Forest Pet care it’s home from home for them (I don’t even think that they miss me when I’m gone). With regards to walks Barbara is trusted and has never let us down.

Top dog was recently established in march 2017. My life long love of animals and spending my life surrounded by pets was my inspiration to take the leap into creating this dog walking business. I myself own three siberian huskies and have supported husky rescues by means of fostering and transporting dogs to their new forever homes. Before becoming a dog walker, I spent many years working with adults with learning disabilities which has been a very fulfilling job however working with animals is where my heart truly is.

When you need a day away from your dog I would recommend you take them here. A fun day out for your doggos with plenty of exercise and a couple of walks to the local park in-between. The place is clean and tidy with really helpful and friendly staff. A 10/10
Teddy has been going to day care for a few months now, prior to day care he was never still for more than 30 seconds…. the dog version of tigger 😂 on his return and for about 2 days after he’s absolutely shattered, so not only is it bliss at home… Adele and the team take out the stress about him been at home all day while I work. He absolutely loves coming he sits at the door on a morning waiting and when he hears the van his tail could give you whip lash 🤦🏼♀️ Wouldn’t want him anywhere else I know he’s safe as houses. Thanks 😊

As a child I grew up with all sorts of pets; cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish and even stick insects. We also had a super Irish Setter. I loved horses too and learnt to ride at a young age. A school questionnaire at 15 showed my ideal career to be in animal care or social work so I became a teacher!! I worked for over 20 years in primary schools in London, Manchester and Leeds, spending the final 8 years as a deputy head. Then I made a life-changing decision and got a dog.

Katie has been walking my dog for 2 years now and does a fantastic job. Katie is prompt, reliable and is great with the dogs. My dog loves his walks with her groups, the dogs are always engaged, well looked after and they often play games for mental stimulation as well as physical exercise.
Katie has been looking after our dog Rusty for 3 years. I cannot be more full of praise. Rusty adores her. Katie is reliable and clearly loves her jobs and the animals in her care. I would give 10 stars if I could! There’s an outlier review in here which seems a bit malicious- Katie’s perfect paws is amazing !!!
Katie looks after my cats several times a year and I’ve never had a better cat minder. She’s completely reliable and really enthusiastic. It really shows how much she loves animals and I always know they’re in good hands while I’m away.
