The Dance Studio Leeds is AMAZING. So welcoming and all the classes I attend are amazing. I go to inter/advanced tap with Amelia on a Tuesday and both the class and Amelia are awesome in everyway. I do burlesque with Aurora Nova on a Wednesday. The confidence I have gained from this class is immense. I also do commercial on a Thursday with Jess. Jess is fabulous and I always have the best time within her classes. THANK YOU The Dance Studio Leeds you are the best.

From start to finish, the dance studio were fantastic. After the first phone call, they followed up with an email with what we could do within the dance. My sister decided on a medley of 3 songs for a burlesque dance routine. They organised the choreography routine to the music and made it easy for us to replicate. We all enjoyed it (even the shy, quiet ones!). Thank you girls.

I absolutely love this dance studio! Everyone is so friendly, the teachers are so skilled and best of all it’s such a blast in a no-pressure environment. I attend Jess’s Musical Mash-Up courses and Zoe’s Jazz Performance Group, along with some other workshops and classes here and there, and can’t get enough of it. Thank you Jess and Zoe.

What We Offer:

Ballet Tap Jazz Street Musical Theatre Contemporary. We are a family-run school offering a secure, friendly learning environment. We appeal to the ‘hobby’ student to those with professional aspirations for a career in the arts. We accept children of all ages and abilities (from 3 yrs +). Most classes are defined by age, but traditional styles (such as ballet and tap) for older children are split via ability. We regularly offer students the option to take their gradings, awards and badge tests. We tend to follow IDTA for recreational and RAD for vocational. We have registered and qualified teaching members of IDTA, ISTD and RAD. All recognised world wide.

Absolutely fantastic dance school, the teachers are just brilliant. Excellent annual show, regular exams and kids make really great progress whilst having fun and developing a real passion for dance. The dance school is incredibly well run, excellent parent communication with outstanding safeguarding and child protection policies.

We love teaching our pupils! Not sure who the guy below is- the “Royal Ballet” guy … he has never been to our school… such a shame… Google reviews eh? Just for absolutely clarity- all of our teacher members have HUGE VAST experience – Elevations ‘Maureen’ is 85 yrs old- who can grumble with someone with over 70 yrs of experience?! Wow. The Elevations team are INCREDIBLE.

Great value for money run by passionate dancers. I have seen a huge difference in my daughters dancing over a short period of time.

Northern School of Contemporary Dance is a world-leading centre for dance education in the North of England, enabling aspiring dance artists, regardless of background, to shape the future of the art form. NSCD hosts just over 200 full-time students. We offer studies in contemporary dance at CertHE, undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an intimate, supportive and creative learning environment. We focus these programmes on the development of versatile, collaborative and individual dance artists with highly tuned technical, creative and performance skills. So happy to see my daughter graduating after 3 years of studying.

Visiting this prestigious dance school for the first time, I enjoyed a Vegan lunch in their wonderful little café. The catering and hospitality team are very friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent quality and reasonably priced. The upcoming programme of shows is exciting and extensive with dance styles to suit and enthral all tastes. You can find details of all upcoming events on the Norther School Of Contemporary Dance website. They are immensely talented and well worth supporting.

Northern School Of Contemporary Dance is Amazing, they highlight individuality but they share the importance of team building and community.
