Moor Allerton Golf Club, Leeds, West Yorkshire. A 27 hole Robert Trent Jones Sr designed golf course, blending beautifully with the surrounding West Yorkshire landscape. Here at Moor Allerton, many famous players walked these fairways in the days when the PGA European Tour came here. Seve Ballesteros and Nick Faldo. Greg Norman and Brian Barnes. Tom Weiskopf and Tony Jacklin. Over a number of years, Ryder Cup player Howard Clark was attached to Moor Allerton Golf Club as playing professional and of course the legendary Peter Alliss, who was the Head Professional in the early 70’s and continued to remain a close friend of the Club until his passing. Moor Allerton Golf Club in Leeds is friendly and relaxed. Our 27 holes are perfect for a thoroughly entertaining day’s golf. It is without doubt probably the finest 27-hole parkland course in Yorkshire.

Superb course in fine condition. A nice mixture of holes with a fair bit of danger which causes you to think your way around. Great facilities. Would definitely love to visit again.

I liked the course but the greens were a bit of a let down. I was expecting a sleek, true role, but they were bumpy uneven cut.

I recently had my wedding at Moorallerton Golf Club which was made to be the most perfect day thanks to the communication of the events manager (Paul), food, waiting staff and all other aspects of the day. The place has a warm and friendly feel to it mostly due to the staff. From beginning to end I/we had a great experience, I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Staff were so attentive and really went out of their way to make sure that everyone had a good time. The food was amazing,

We are a privately owned, 14 hole course offering a challenging round to all abilities. The course is open to all and there is no booking required, simply pay and play. The atmosphere is friendly and informal but we also insist on high standards of etiquette. Buggies and clubs are available to hire (see prices). There is a welcoming café serving hot and cold refreshments / snacks. 10 minute drive from Leeds, 20 minutes from Harrogate (directions).

Great golf course for beginners – intermediate. 14-18 holes. Challenging enough for a good game without being too tiring. Great local pub round the corner too to finish off the round.

learned to play golf here back in the day, still call back a couple of times a year to practice before i play the bigger courses. its harder than you think due to narrow fairways, i always play the first 4 holes again at the end to get 18 holes in. staff very friendly.

Perfect for a relaxing afternoon round surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Usually nice and quiet after 3pm if you don’t want the pressure of groups behind you.

Really nice but tough course with some “quirky” holes. Played in their mixed open, made to feel very welcome. Superb halfway house refreshments.

Absolutely fantastic evening in the function room, staff were so helpful and friendly and jenny was just amazing, making sure that the evening was everything we wanted it to be. The food was on another level, catered to everybody’s personal needs and went above and beyond, it was delicious, and cooked to perfection, we will definitely be going here again and can’t praise it enough.

Lovely golf course with some very challenging holes. Quite hilly but will definitely return.
